Wonderful and spotlessly clean place, fairly friendly and amazingly nice staff with an excellent receptionist.

The room was good-sized with 4 beds, I stayed here for 1 night. An individual safe, air conditioner and a work desk were all available.

There was free Wi-Fi throughout the property and the service in general was very good! The location was convenient and perfect there, in Gladbeck area. Moreover, it was right by the restaurant of the evening, movie park Germany and snowboarding centre.

The surrounding park is a beautiful and peaceful retreat, perfect for relaxing walks. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable, with big and clean beds. The breakfast is delicious and satisfying. The hotel's location right beside the Autobahn is perfect for travelers on a road trip. The staff's attention to our needs, such as providing a room with direct carpark access, was impressive. The price was GREAT for the value received.

Really easy to find lovely quiet countryside lounge are free wifi which was good - though only informed of after trying to purchase internet in room lounge area comfortable

Long walk to rooms from reception only 1 key fob and rooms area locked out wihtout key fob - difficult to leave children in lounge using internet and return to room

Nice room, good breakfast, Spa area on the roof (not very comfortable during cold weather) and good fitness center. In general we liked the hotel.

No way to boil water for tea or coffee in the room.

Loved the way my suite was arranged with impressive bathrooms and balconies plus a twin bed.

We had a great stay here! The hotel was easy to find and check-in was a breeze, thanks to the excellent receptionist who assisted us even though it was late at night. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, allowing us to have a good night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of space. We also enjoyed the buffet dinner, which was fantastic on some days. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even providing us with a room that had direct access to the carpark for easy loading and unloading of our equipment. the hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services, making our stay here a pleasant one.

We would highly recommend this hotel to families.

Reasonably clean and the staff was excellent. The rooms were fairly quiet and had basic facilities you needed. The breakfasts were delicious and nice, always with a wide range of meals.

Nothing not to love.

* The hotel was very noisy with it transmitting from the corridors through the very poorly fitting doors which did not feel very secure at all. * The hotel provided pay TV but had no programme of what was on - so you ran the risk of buying to watch a movie that you didn't want to see * Whilst it was clearly laid out at the time of booking, charging for wifi is behind the curve with many competitors providing it for free

had a fantastic long weekend at gladbeck, van der valk. upgraded room with balcony and comfortable bed. staff was friendly and accommodating. close to snowboarding centre and movie park germany. overall, exceeded my expectations and highly recommended.

Missing air conditioning in room.

It was short walk to very good Restaurant, highway exit and attractions in the area, convenient location overall.

The breakfast, nice and polite staff. Nice beds, marble bathroom.

The temperature, too hot in the room. Tobaccosmoke got inside the room via the ventilationsystem and via the open door to the balcony, because other guests were smoking just outside.

Close to motorway for convenience during a city trip. Spacious room with both shower and bath in the bathroom. , the option for a separate bed for my daughter was a nice touch.

The lighting in the room was quite poor, especially by the beds and above the sink in the bathroom. It made it difficult to read and apply makeup.
